Location<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Imoz valley where we are is a place that is little exploited “touristically”, it is a place close to Pamplona and does not appear in the guide books. The valley is made up of seven villages: Eraso, Goldaratz, Latasa, Muskitz, Oskotz, Urritza, Zarrantz and Etxaleku, which is the capital of the valley and where the Town Hall is located. If you want to know more about the valley, this is its website<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Etxaleku is 30 minutes by car from Pamplona and 45 minutes from San Sebastian. We are in the south-west of the Ulzama valley, Basaburua is located between the two valleys and in Jauntsaras there are two impressive examples of Monumental Oaks that are worth visiting, they are just 5 minutes from Etxaleku.<\/p>\n\n\n

Imoz has recently joined the network of Nordic Walking centres<\/strong>, with several marked walking routes in the area for Nordic walking. If you want to download the maps and find out more about these routes, just visit the Nordic Walking Centres Network<\/strong><\/a> website.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

If you want a short, easy walk, you can follow the path of the Monumental Oaks, a two-kilometre walk with no gradient that links the two specimens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plazaola greenway<\/strong>. This track follows the same route as the old train that used to run between Pamplona and San Sebastian, a mining train that was converted into a passenger train in 1914. The main point of this track and of all the activities that surround it is in Lekunberri, and it is the Plazaola consortium that actively manages it. The greenway crosses Latasa, 8 kilometres from Etxaleku, next to the covered pelota court you will find the Biltegi<\/strong><\/a>, an old train station recently renovated and converted into a restaurant with a small shop selling organic products where you can also rent a bicycle<\/strong> or have yours repaired, as they have a workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On horseback<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There are routes for horse riding. Both circular routes, with Etxaleku as the starting and finishing point, and routes that reach Lekunberri or the Ulzama Valley. They can last one or several days. If you are interested in visiting us with your horse, we have boxes and paddocks for your animal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
